1. Know your product. (designers, merchandise, trends, styles,etc.)
2. Know your JARGON.
3. Have RETAIL experience!!!!!!
4. Join a FASHION CLUB (Fashion Merchandising Club of SHSU, FMC).
5. Network your ass off.
6. Excel at your internship.
7. Interact in projects. (fashion shows, photo/personal stylist, personal shop,etc.)
8. Have a kick ass PORTFOLIO.
9. Find YOUR niche.
10. ALWAYS dress to kill!!!
